My husband is king of the castle, but he deserves the title. He is caring, kind and generous. He has a big heart and he loves everybody. Everybody loves him. He deserves every good thing that life places at his feet. My goal here is to make him feel like royalty for as long as I can. He’s the cat’s meow!

I have been severely hurt in the past, mainly by people to whom I was very close. Over the years, I built a wall around my heart and it was very hard to let anyone close to me for fear of being hurt again. I would like to be able to truly forgive all those who hurt me, and I would like to forgive myself for some hurtful things I have done to others. I want to be able to love freely and happily without fear of being hurt. This fear crowds my judgment and makes it hard to succeed. I believe I’m ready to take the next step.
As a Christian, I believe that I can do better in following the teachings of Christ as written in the Bible. My main focus in this goal is to learn how to take Biblical principals and apply them to my real life. I would like to spend more time in prayer and meditation, reading my Bible, teaching my children more about God’s love, and being an overall better person. I also want to not shy away from opportunities to minister to people in my everyday life who are hurting or in need of a word of encouragement. I would like to find my purpose in God. I would like to know what my ministry is and pursue it. I don’t believe that ministry takes place only in the four walls of the church. I believe that ministry can be something as simple as smiling when you say “Good Morning”, or offering a hug when someone is sad. Sometimes, the little things say so much more.
