Run a 5k race
Bowman Cup 5k 23 months ago

I ran my first 5k on October 6, 2007. It was the kickoff of the KSU Homecoming festivities at 8am. Most of my friends were still sleeping anticipating the drunken festivities that were to dominate the rest of the day, but I woke up early to earn my night out. I finished my race in 27 minutes and 45 seconds. Afterwords, we were all treated to lunch food at a breakfast time….and then the rest of my day was spent playing beer pong, tailgating, and barhopping. Great times. I would like to run at least one 5k every year from now on, but now I am going to shoot for an 8k!
