I go to Shampoo in Philly and it is a lot of fun. If you go with your friends there’s no way you won’t have a great time. But be open minded, one of my friends just pouted and sat on a couch the whole time, and then complained about having a bad time. lame.
For me personally, getting a job is what helped me with this. When you’re in high school sometimes the only people you see are people you’ve known forever, people who already have set opinions about you. Getting a job helped me meet new people, and then I met those people’s friends, and basically there’s just an endless amount of new people to befriend. So Get a job!
I got a job at a movie theater, and it’s the greatest job ever. It’s very relaxed, and I’ve met some amazing people. I would definitely suggest a career in movie theater-ing, especially if you’re a teenager.
