I just bought a new manual trans truck two weeks ago. Driving it home from the dealership, which was only about 20miles, was one of the most harrowing experiences. I circled the dealership for about an hour, until I felt faux confident to make it back home. On edge - I was so happy to make it home alive. I would have to say with two weeks passed that I’m fairly comfortable - but I still freak out on the mondo hills with even moderate traffic. Seattle core isn’t probably the best place to learn.
