think may be solution at local rec center; apparently has classes for adults too, which is new to me. fall list not out till sat., but if similar to summer program, then could possibly do tae kwan do, t’ai chi, pilates, maybe sport like basketball on free gym days, for abt. $5/wk (per class). much better (for now, for short term) than the last gym checked out, which was $99 down, then $15/month for 3 years. blech.
also looking at nearby skating rinks for possible free skates during the winter – maybe not skate as regular routine but as an additional treat? should try to believe “exercise treat” is not oxymoron.

pain in the butt to remember to not do something unconsciously done. and apparently been doing it a lot – standing with unlocked knees feels like preparing to go down ski hill. washing dishes particularly difficult.
but still fixing it when noticing, so progress of sorts.

figured out how much will weigh when bmi finally is less than 30 (which is point when will be overweight as opposed to obese): 174 lbs.
so, mini-goals breakdown:
- hit 190 in next 2 weeks
- then, total loss of 30 lbs. (187)
- then, total loss of 40 lbs. (177)
- then, make next 10% goal (176) and write up new mini-goals
- then, make bmi = 29.9 (174)
aim to complete list by christmas!
