Okay, I’ve had this goal on my list for forever and just haven’t been able to even start. In fact, I’ve accumulated even more debt. I’m just so sick of this, it’s time to buckle down.

Well, I gave her away to someone who can spend more time with her and hopefully make her happier. She was a wonderful lizard, though, and I feel that this was the right thing to do.

I’m almost out of here. I just need to get my CDL and a decent trucking job, and then I think it’ll be cake to get out of this place.

I finally finished reading Lolita by Vladmir Nabokov. It was excellent, but took me so long to read because it was going at such a slow pace that it couldn’t hold my interest for very long. I wrote more of my thoughts about it over on my AllConsuming page. I started reading my Shutterbox Mangas, because I have yet to read them all and I need to. XD

Since I’m going to be getting a trucking job soon, I won’t have room in that truck for my iguana to come with me, and I don’t have any family members that will take her. I’ll probably just have to give her away, but hopefully her next owner will have a nice, big aquarium for her to live in.

I’m not having any luck with this. D= I have no job right now, but I hope that when I get my CDL and a decent driving job that everything will turn around.

I’m so happy that my plant still seems to be thriving. I figured it would be a lot harder to take care of, but just a little water and a spot on the windowsill seems to be keeping it really healthy. It’s still catching bugs too, which is awesome. =D

After it’s winter dormancy, my Venus Flytrap is still alive and well, and growing it’s traps back very nicely. =D I think that when I have taken care of it for at least a year, I will take this goal off of my list. Only 6 more months to go.

I’ve noticed that I procrastinate less when I use a list to help me remember when I use a list to remind me about what needs to get done. I found http://www.rememberthemilk.com the other day, and it’s been helping me a lot. They even have a little thing you can put on your Google start-page to give yourself little reminders everytime you use Google.

I am failing at this goal, but I still want to try. I need to get off of my ass, already and do things! I’m really tired of sitting here like a bump on a log. 8D Time to do stuff! motivates herself

I just decided that instead of buying a new one right away I’m going to attempt to take better care of my old one. It’s about time I took more responsibility and relied upon myself more.

Well, it’s still alive after all this time, so I think I’m doing pretty good so far. I think my main problem is being forgetful.

It’s sad that this had been on my list for so long, but I finally got an easel the other day. It was only $10.00, but you get what you pay for because the craftsmanship on it was definitely not that great at all. I’m happy that I have one to get my painting done, though, it makes things a lot easier. I plan to get a better one eventually, when I’m not so poor. :3

Okay, I decided to buy a houseplant and try my best to give it a happy and full life. I know that I need to read up on it’s species, also, in case there is any special care that I need to give it.

What kind of plant is it, you ask? A Venus Flytrap, of course. Come on, I couldn’t go with a normal type of plant. ;)

Well, my two girls (2nd generation) are almost through college. This is going to take a very long time, but it’ll be one of those labor-of-love sort of things. :D

I finally got one, and I don’t mind it so far at all. I mean, I’ve worked there for only about a month now, but still. You have to start somewhere.

I finally drank it all, now all of the boxes that I have in the cupboard are new ones, since I finished all of the old stuff. Now I have:

1 box Vanilla Rooibos
1 box of Green Tea
1 canister of Green Tea with Rose Petals
and 1 box of Ginger Twist

It helps me keep things organized and I don’t have to worry about my browser doing this weird thing where it deletes my bookmarks for some reason. It works wonders for me, so it is totally worth it in my opinion.

It’s finally clean, and will now be a home for objects that we are storing. The birds like it better in the living room, anyway.
