How I did it: I hired a driving instructor then practiced for 5 hours. I took the road test and failed on parallel parking. I signed on for 15 more hours of instruction, took the test again and passed. Read how I did it…

Finally made some progress. Parties on the weekends have made things slow going. I’m going to try and stay away from too much indulgence this weekend and see if I can carry it through.
My new short-term goal is 220 by the end of August.

Nothing is the same except the weight. I started running again and have managed 5/7 days a week. I’ve also focused on portions very carefully. To be honest, the weight dipped below the 230 mark several times, but no major downward trend yet. I’m hopeful that next week, I will have something to show for the hard work.
