i got the schedules from my school’s intramural center & the yoga studio i go to and made out a list of all the classes that i’d be able to make it to on each day of the average week for me. it’s all right there for quick reference and i can’t make the old excuse, “i don’t have time.” it’s been SO helpful; i’ve done something every day this week!

I’ve really lost sight of my spiritual life, and a recent injury has COMPLETELY derailed my yoga practice. (And I know the two are closely related.) So in October, I’ve decided I want to expand my yoga practice and use it to more spiritual ends. A few specific goals:
1. achieve Sirasana (headstand)—that’s the big one.
2. master Ardha Chandrasana (“half moon pose”).
3. improve Savasana (“corpse pose”); stay present & meditative.
so i pinched a nerve in my hip last weekend at yoga. it’s gotten progressively worse and now i’m laid up. i feel like such a lump. i did walk for about an hour last night; the doctor said a little exercise would be OK. but i think i’ll go nuts if i can’t get back to yoga soon..this goal has become an addiction. :)
