Having so many things I want to do, and feeling like I need to do them all right now, that I paralyze myself and end up not getting anything accomplished at all. So my new plan, which has been working out, is to only do two things every day:
- a chore or errand
- something enriching or part of a goal
Just two. That’s all. Obviously there are always more things I want to do, and probably should, but that’s the absolutely-must-get-done-even-if-I-accomplish-nothing-else-today items. Ironically, I’m making more visible progress by trying to do less.
