I’ve gone through official training near Lansing, Michigan. I’ve completed my H2 certification, I purchased a glider, and I am soaring free. Its the greatest thing ever. If you have the means and a desire to fly, I can’t express how great it is.

I started hang gliding lessons in Michigan last year. I’ve taken 12 aero-tow tandom flights at DFSC, I’m a few flights away from a solo flight and then I’ll be hang 2 certified. This sport is incredible, there is no better way to fly. The club won’t open up again till May but I’ve been thinking about it every day this winter. There is nothing else I’ve ever done that has fulfilled my lifelong desire to fly like hang gliding. I’d recomend this to almost anyone adventurous, even if you don’t think you would be all that interested, I bet you would change your mind after the first flight; my wife did.
