I set a goal to be able to do wall splits by September of this year. So, naturally, I’m stretching a lot more than I have done in the past, especially focusing on my groin muscles. Here’s a great stretch that will help you get closer to splits on the ground:
Start in a low lunge (One foot forward with the knee directly above the foot, one foot back). Lower your back knee to the ground, and slide your front foot forward as far as you can go. Hold for 10 seconds, then repeat on the other side.

There’s going to be a Thrill The World event in my city, and my local dance studio is offering free lessons! It’s absolutely perfect.

I have a beautiful Oscar Schmidt soprano ukulele that my fiancĂ©e bought for me as a graduation present. As a thank you, I learned how to play “5 Years Time” by Noah and the Whale, one of his favourite songs.
I’ve been using the website www.ukulele-tabs.com, though they’ve been buggy recently. I’m on simple songs, though I now know all the major chords and some of the minor chords by heart. I just need to work on my transitions.
