I saw M. Ward perform at the festival Outside Lands in San Francisco last summer. He was amazing live, and I’d definitely love to see him live again in a smaller venue where he can play a longer set.

How I did it: I've wanted to visit Africa for as long as I can remember. My junior year of high school I was searching for a volunteer program to get involved in either the summer or year after I graduated. Instead, I found a program called World Camp for Kids which was accepting high school volunteers for the first time ever (it is generally geared towards college students, but there are plenty of older people involved as well). I bought an adorable Alice in Wonderland dream journal over a year ago with the intention of writing down all my dreams. Inside are random quotes from Alice in Wonderland and small tidbits about dream symbolism. However, a year later, it only has eight dreams recorded in it. Granted, I don’t remember my dreams that often, but I’ve been very lazy about recording the ones I do remember when waking up. It’s interesting reading the few entries I do have – some of the dreams I remember vividly, and others not at all. The journal will be sitting right next to my bed with a pen in order to encourage me to start recording my dreams again.
I signed up for a photography class in Manhattan so I can learn how to use my Minolta SR-T to it’s full potential (and learn how to develop my own pictures!) The class meets once a week and I believe we develop a roll of film each class, so it will force me to take a roll of pictures every week.
It doesnt start for three weeks, but I still plan on taking plenty of pictures before then.
I received the Minolta as a Christmas gift, but have only developed one roll of film so far! That needs to change!
