In the end I had to recruit my very organised husband to help! He sorted out the filing cabinet first. Then we got all the paperwork into the living room, and sorted it into piles of all the different categories. Once that was done he wrote up all the files and put it all in the filing cabinet.
Now there are a few things left that need to be actioned and then filed, and it’s all done!
What a RELIEF!

How I did it: Difficult goal! How did I accomplish this one? The most important thing was understanding why it was important to me. I did a course at church which taught me a lot about relationships, and in particular the bible's words about relationships and sex. Practical stuff, but stuff they don't usually preach about on a Sunday from the pulpit! The thing that stuck with me the most was the teacher saying that if you sleep with someone, part of you… Read how I did it…
How I did it: We had only 6 months to organise the wedding because of family coming from overseas. Luckily the chapel we wanted to get married in was free on the date we wanted, so the rest went from there! It did feel like a bit of a scramble to get everything done in 6 months, and on budget. Initially I didn't realise how much planning would have to be done! Some friends helped by sending me Excel spreadsheets and run lists that they had used for plan… Read how I did it…
How I did it: A friend bought me a beautiful, light sari and when I found out that a party had a Bollywood theme I couldn't wait to wear it! I borrowed a sari petticoat (basically a cotton drawstring skirt) from my sister. I bought a long, light coloured top to wear under the sari, as I didn't want to show too much skin. I looked up on wiki-how how to actually tie the sari, and got my husband to look at the instruction to - so he could help.It was a bi… Read how I did it…

My reading time has been taken up with my study for my Masters, so again I don’t feel too bad giving up on this one.
It’s also compounded by the fact that my fave PM was actually given the boot by our current PM. I don’t have as much loyalty to the competition now!
I’m sure they are all great books, but this goal has moved off my list for now.
I don’t mind giving up on this goal though. I can’t really find time to fit in to watch all the films during the year, and there are other far more fun films that I’d rather be seeing (Bollywood and romcoms!) than the ones that have Oscar buzz.
Maybe some other year further down the track!
