Go to a NY broadway show
I did it!!!! 18 months ago

Last night I saw Hairspray on Broadway. It was fabulous!!! All that I imagined and more. The music, the costumes, the sets, were all great. I’ve seen Broadway Series productions in my own town, but there’s nothing like actually seeing one in New York.

pay off my house (read all 2 entries…)
DONE! The house is paid off! 20 months ago

We paid off a 15 year mortgage in a little less than 9 years. And in that time, one of us was unemployed for a year, we completed a renovation of our basement, bought 3 “new”(er) cars (which we also paid off in less than a year each), and managed to raise happy, healthy children who didn’t want for much. We’re not rich… just an average middle-class family who had a goal. You can do it too!

Way out of character for me! 2 years ago

I recently had some boudoir pictures taken, in a retro dress, wet t-shirt and jeans, sexy lingerie, and in the nude! This is definitely new territory for me! But I had a blast taking them and I’ve gotten a lot of wonderfully affirming compliments on the photos. Does this make me a succulent, wild woman? Am I getting close?
