Last week I was roadtripping through the Oregon coast. One day, while stopped at a lighthouse, a man in a Hybrid pointed out three water spouts out on the horizon. Sure enough, I could see three distinct funnels, though they weren’t touching the water anymore. So technically, I have seen a tornado… but I’m still holding out for one of the big, land-based, rip your roof off tornados.
