Giving blood was so easy to do. The hardest part is just putting it in your schedule and getting off your butt to go do it. It takes about 45 min by the time you go through all of the necessary questionaires and paperwork, but the actual blood drawing takes only 5 min. Then they give you a snack, a pat on the head and send you on your way. I’ll definitely do it again next time they’re in town.

I’ve always wanted to cross the equator in my own sailboat, and it seems to me to be one of the few tatoo-worthy accomplishments out there. I’ll have to think of a good equator-crossing ceremony too. If anyone has any ideas, I’m open to suggestions.
What can I say, Canada is a great place to live. I haven’t lived in any other countries, but I still think that Canada is one of the best. If you never actually live here, at least come for a visit, there’s lots to see.
