I have two degrees in literature, and I’m beginning a PhD program. I also read every day. Right now, due to the massive amounts of reading I’ll be doing-and the reading I do anyway-I’ve decided that it’s not high priority for me to make a reading list. Actually, I’m preferring serendipity right now, and I’m finding great books.

At some point in the future, I hope to find/adopt/develop some sort of lifetime reading plan.



improve my health (read all 2 entries…)
This was my year 3 years ago

to take better care of myself. I’ve lost weight, made exercise more “permanent” in my life, stopped smoking (actually, I stopped a year and four months ago, but I consider 2005 my year of health), started working on mental health (organization, goals, etc.), and I feel great!

I hope to continue improving my health, and some of my other goals go into that more specifically for 2006, so it’s time to call this one done.

learn to dance and not be embarrased to dance
Not that important to me now 3 years ago

I’ve decided to remove this goal and save it for another time. It’s almost the new year, and I’m goal setting, and I’ve decided this is not high priority.

I shall return to this, though!
