I had another goal of keeping a houseplant alive for more than one yr. It’s been 1.5 yrs…and I have 6 living plants. My boyfriend said he’d like to purchase my orchid to get me started on this goal…shall I start? What do I need to do with it? Do I need to spray it and such like in the movie “The Secretary”?

How I did it: I bought 3-4 plants when I returned to Portland in January 08, and then in March 08 my mom gave me a few more plants....I watered them often, put them in my window near my cupboards so I would see them. All the plants lived. :) It's May...and mom just gave me more...YAY! Now I need to move on to more complicated plants. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Lots of support from friends, family, and professors. 100,000k in student loans...took some time off when I got overwhelmed. Made the choice to do this for me...not because of expectations from family. Read how I did it…
How I did it: The DVDs were on sale around xmas, so I bought a few myself...and had others get the rest for me as xmas presents. Awesome to watch from beginning to end and see a large chunk of the character's lives. Read how I did it…

Currently in Redmond, OR….spending the new yr with Ron’s family. We leave tomorrow…and finally get to go home.
we paid 25.00 to see it for 20 minutes. it was expensive, but really amazing to see. It was 20 some miles across, and really cool. Very cold, very cloudy….but there was a bit of snow on the sides of the canyon, so it made it look really nice. I also drug my cat out of the car so we could document the fact that he was also there…but I wouldn’t reccomend going unless it’s for a few days….to make good use of the $25.00 fee.
