We went two years ago and I started putting it together and petered out. I need to sit down for a little bit each day and just get it done.

How I did it: We booked a campground near Lake Chelan, packed up our stuff and set up camp with friends. We set up our tent and spread a tablecloth on the picnic table to start. How I did it: I sat and watched Sue knit slowly and mimicked her motions until it became smooth and easy. I alreay knew how to crochet so I knew enough to not strangle the yarn and keep the flow even and taut. I'm still working on learning more new stitches, but it's neat how many things you can make. How I did it: We signed up for our community P-Patch and rent 2 spaces for the year. We grew green beans, tomatillos, 8 varieties of heirloom tomatoes, sugar snap peas, watermelon, cucumbers, zucchini, crookneck squash and spaghetti squash as well as an assortment of herbs and lettuces.We picked up plants at the organic veggie shop in town and at the local farmer's market and set ourselves up nicely. I’m still sick but I shined my sink and got dressed to my shoes anyways. My hubby and kids zipped home and did a 15 minute tidy in the downstairs and it looks great. As soon as I’m able, I’m reinstating the routines and trying to stay on track.
The new Jennifer Chiaverini book and am really trying to start the Ken Follett book, Pillars of the Earth that my mother in law gifted me last Xmas.
