The Tour d’Afrique is a bike race and expedition from Cairo, Egypt to Cape Town, South Africa.
It runs 11,884 km, through Egypt,Sudan,Ethiopia,Kenya,Tanzania,Malawi,Zambia,Botswana,Namibia, and South Africa.
I think it would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the world’s most fascinating continent.
At this point in my life, it simply isn’t a reality for me. But I’ll keep working and saving. Maybe I can make it a University Graduation present to myself in a few years.

I was at the very first show in Vancouver!
Awsome time! Easily the best concert I’ve ever been too.
I wasn’t even born when the Police broke up, and I was only vaguely familiar with their music before the show. My dad got me and my brother tickets, but I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect. That night has made me a fan for life.
If anyone is reading this and thinking of going, do it. You will not regret it.

All through the university year, I got into a cycle of going to bed anywhere from 3-7 in the morning, and waking up around midday. Easily the worst 8 months ever. I had no energy, got almost nothing accomplished, and was pretty depressed for a good portion of it.
When May came around, I had to change my sleep schedule for work. It’s been almost 3 months now, and I feel so much better now. I’m more rested, and I get more done when I’m up.
Hopefully I can continue this into August and then the school year. For now, I’m counting this goal as done.
