How I did it: Okay, so I've been in Japan for awhile and I took Japanese in college. I remembered only a few kana from that. I just needed to sit down and remember them. I've been so busy, lazy and forgetful that I never got around to it. I used Japanese for Busy People workbook and I have kana flashcards that I bought a while ago Read how I did it…
How I did it: I had been wanting to do an Alice theme party for a long time now. I decided to do it on my birthday. I bought a lot of teacups and teapots as souvenirs at the ¥100 store. I also bought all the prizes from the ¥100 store as well. They had a lot of Alice in Wonderland themed goodies. (pencils, notebooks, calendars, stickers). I got my costume on cosplayonsale.com. I ordered very early and good thing too because they go… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Okay so it took me more than 90 days. Stuff happens. You fall off track. But you have to keep moving! I did the lean program and got some stellar abs! (I also did a bit of a hybrid, used "slim in six pack" video from Slim in six instead of ab ripper and rode my bike halfway through for cardio days instead of cardio dvd). I met Tony Horton in February 2011 and he really inspired me to kick-start P90X again! Read how I did it…

So I’ve been living in Japan for a year and a half. I really want to start travelling further than my prefecture. I hope this year to visit Kyoto and Nitto and maybe even Tokyo or Osaka. There is so much to see and I haven’t seen enough! I love it here. Also I’ve been blogging about my travls in the local area. aomoristory.blogspot.com
So I stopped writing this “book” for over a year. I have a hard time writing what it is that I’m imagining and sometimes I think I’m not imagining enough. It is still in rough stages obviously. I got up to 17,348 words. Someone posted on FB that is is “write a novel” month so I thought I should get back to it. I don’t want to read through the almost 30 pages which are already written. I heard that I should just write even if it is crap and then go back later but I’m such a perfectionist it is hard. I should just do it and shut up, right? It’s a pretty good story I just need the words to tell it.
