learn to play guitar (read all 2 entries…)
I knew it was too good to be true 2 years ago

It’s been a while since I’ve logged on here, and I can’t say I’m really surprised. Not that I want to set myself up for failure or anything, but I think I was a tad ambitious in trying to log everything every day. I should really shoot for at least weekly updates for all of this. Besides, who needs to log daily ;)

I did manage to get a guitar for my birthday, so for the past month or so I’ve spent time going through the Mel Bay Volume I guitar book. I have tried to learn guitar in the past, so that’s definitely helped my progression. I’m not practicing as much as I want, but even just a few minutes a day going over chords is going a long way in building dexterity.

This is definitely a marathon and not a sprint, so slow and steady will win the race!

Grow my hair out (read all 2 entries…)
Too shaggy for me 2 years ago

My dreams of having long locks are definitely going out the door. While I’ve barely started the quest having my hair longer is just bugging the crap out of me! Considering my job as well having shorter hair is just easier, and bed head will be a thing of the past.

GTD installed for Outlook 2 years ago

I got the GTD add-on installed again for Outlook. This should get me back on the right track in making sure I have things planned out. I’ve realized over the past few weeks that if I don’t have things in Outlook with reminders I tend to forget pretty much everything.
