I think it would be cool to give myself a new name and see how my life changes because of it. I wold love an Earth name, like Rain or Ocean. It’s kind of hippy but still, I’d get a kick out of it. I met a girl named Prairie one time; the name suited her too. She was blonde, natural, and kind of like a calm breeze. I guess my name could be Storm.

How I did it: I live in downtown Portland, so I walked there with my husband. I have known about the Chinese Garden since we moved here nearly three years ago. For whatever reason, we had yet to see this unique place. So today we decided to do "Portland things" to celebrate our forth wedding anniversary. I want to live a life of purpose, whether it be to serve the community or to protect Mountain Gorillas from poachers. I don’t want to do it for God or Jesus or Buddha; just for me, because I know in my heart that helping others is the best way to live life. It doesn’t have to be grand- just effective.
It is an arctic wildlife lovers dream trip; whales, snowy owls, wolves, musk ox, fox, polar bears. You can hike for miles and miles with the wilderness as your only company. I would like to do a photo/video project of this wonderful place, and then use the material to educate and encourage others to help protect the island’s fragile environment.
