I joined a band back in June because supposedly 1. They needed a bass player 2. They had national aspirations 3. They had well-connected national management.
Lo and behold, the lead singer was a complete freak! She couldn’t hold a band together if she tried, because she was mentally unstable. So in spite of all the “good stuff” the band had in place, I didn’t see a future in it.
So, I give up on this goal. I’m really quite content to stay in Seattle, write songs, and record. If the opportunity to tour arises, I’ll do it, but I won’t chase it.

I built a vanity out of plywood, pre-bought legs from Lowes, moldings, and leftover granite from my kitchen remodel. It fits perfectly in the corner and is even attached to the wall. Hooray!
