How I did it: I found the most amazing church in my hometown, Healing Place Church. The moment I heard the pastor speak for the first time my life changed. I was looking forward and never turning back. In this journey I have connected with several great people from the church and have begun to understand Jesus and how he is constantly in my life. I have 4 classes remaining and a semester of student teaching which means I am predicted to graduate next December. Wow, I’m getting pumped!
I feel that in this new year I want to abide in Him. For the past few months I have really started to become more connected to God. At this point in my life I’ve started to realize what I need most and that it is Him. My love for Him grows deeper and I want to learn more. He is my rock, and he gives me purpose.
