...I got some chopsticks last year. Bought them in Chinatown, San Francisco, & I’ve started using them. I’m still not great at them, but I like to make the effort. It has also helped me to eat more slowly. So this one is definitely a win, & it’s something I can continue to do in the future!



take better care of my hair (read all 3 entries…)
taking this off the list...

...it’s been almost a year since I went off sulfates & silicones. My scalp is healthier, though I’m still experimenting w/ products. One kind of interesting thing I also started doing is detangling & then rinsing my hair out w/ my head down (upside-down)...it’s changed the way the top of my hair looks, more curly & less flat on top. It’s been kind of interesting…some people that I see regularly haven’t noticed a change, but it’s people who don’t see you that might…a bartender at a bar I used to frequent took notice when I stopped by after having not been there in awhile.

So well…here’s to taking care of your hair, especially if you are stuck w/ the curls (that all straight-haired people want, but we know they couldn’t handle!) like me.
