I was laid off from my job almost a month and a half ago and I still haven’t been able to find another. (The Borders I worked at closed) It was alright at first. I’m a full time Uni student and the extra time I gained to study really paid off. But now that summer has begun and I just paid for summer classes and books I’m feeling the financial hurt. I’ve applied to several places already but still haven’t received a job offer.. I really really hope I can find a decent part-time/Full-time job before Fall semester starts.

How I did it: I filled out applications non-stop. . I think I applied to 9 or 10 different places. I think the key is to not get discouraged I had a total of 3 rejections. (It was actually kind of comical I applied to the same store in two different areas and one location gave me a job offer the other sent me a message saying my exp wasn’t to par.) I only recieved two job offers in all but I’m not complaining. I had my interview with … Read how I did it…
I’ve never been interested in learning Spanish. I took French in high school, I learned German from a friend and studied Japanese in college.
The guy I’m dating is Hispanic and I often feel left out in the conversations with his family. The conversations go back and forth between english and spanish and I’m left in the dust smiling awkwardly or looking absent-mindedly out a window. I feel really embarrassed by it..
A couple months back I purchased some Spanish learning software but never had time to get into it because of my school work. Taking tiny steps-My goal is to try and get the basics down by the end of summer.
I’ve been biting my cheek since I was really little..(I’m 20 now)
And I have no idea why.. Most of the time I do it subconsciously
and when I realize I’m doing it I quickly stop myself but then I always end up chewing on it again.
I wasn’t really concerned about doing it until I went to the dentist recently and she was telling me how you can get cancer from bitting your cheek. I was mortified! And I’ve really been trying to stop but it just so hard!!
I’m really hoping that I can finally kick this habit this year
