Just found out there’s a club in my home-town! I attended a meeting this evening (after having chickened out on the last one)and I’m so glad I did!!! They are a wonderfully supportive group of people and it was Fun. I never thought I would say that.
I can learn a lot from them.

I’ve found my notes from last year, when I studied with a tutor and bought a little notebook that will easily fit in my handbag. I will transfer the words/sentences into that notebook that I want to learn in a week. Let’s see how that works…

found some ideas in a CNN article, which were quite helpful. Repeat a person’s name when you’re introduced. Use that name during conversation whenever seems natural. Try to attach the name to a characteristic feature of the person. I tried it last week-end, when I was out on a trip together with a number of people I didn’t know, and it helped! :o)
