After uhming and ahhing through my teenage years I finally took the plunge aged 20 by which time I was cooking for myself and therefore free to do as I pleased. Have been veggie 7 years now and couldnt imagine going back. Aside from the health benefits I honestly feel I eat a more diverse menu than most meat eaters – and my friends seem to agree, at keast once a week I cook for one or more of them – and all veggie foods which they love to try :)

Volunteered 2 years running with the National Trust doing woodland clearance for a week. Strangely enough despite the burnmarks in all my clothes, calluses on my hands and qaching muscles it was the best holiday I’d had in ages. I worked up a healthy sweat in fresh clean air everyday, met interesting and fun people, ate like a horse (and still didnt gain weight) and slept like a baby. Would I do it again, hell yeah!
