Considering I have to pay for going to China, Europe, post-secondary education, my gap year, and still have a couple bucks to see a movie once in a while, I really need to save. Aaah.

How I did it: I went to a wedding, and it really just was a lot more fun to stand up and dance rather then sit at the table watching everyone else dance. Seriously. And I had a good time. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I called my hairdresser and set up an appointment for the next day. I came, got my hair cut and styled, and it looks awesome. Also, it's a lot cooler now that summer is here. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I sat down the minute I got home from school and just did it. I thought I'd never, ever finish it, but I did. Thank God. This way, I get to go to China next year. Which is pretty damn worth it. Read how I did it…

how can one “start over?” isn’t that what we do all our lives?? continually start over?? i thought that was how it’s done. we just live our lives: run down paths, turn corners, mess up, make nice, wash, rinse, and repeat. maybe life is all about starting over, every day. and then starting over on all our previous starting overs. so how can i “start over”? when i do this mentally, physically, and emotionally every day? maybe it’s done. maybe real starting overs can only happen if you change zip codes, and no one else had memorys that prescede any change that may occur with you. maybe that’s it. i dunno. i’m considering taking this off the list.
Our group decided to go to Europe this summer. I wasn’t going for the longest time and that really bummed me out, because Europe has been something I’ve wanted to do since I was like eleven. Maybe even younger. I know a ridiculous amount of crap about the Italian Renaissance thanks to Humanities in grade 8, the English monarchy, Paris (we study it every year in French, it’s ridiculous), among other things, and I’ve just always figured that instead of just reading and talking about all these things and places, maybe I should actually go see and experience them. Instead of looking at “The School of Athens” in a book, I should go see it, and the Tour Eiffel, and everything else. There comes a point in your life where you being content with hearing about the world and the everything going on in it, and you just need to step off the bench and into the game. Maybe I’ve got my analogies screwed up, but you get my meaning. So like I said, I was really upset I wasn’t going to be going, but after a lot of hard work and me being especially charming, I am. Yes! And forget academia, it’s Europe for fricks sake. It’s going to be amazing. And it’s especially awesome because I will be going with some of my best friends in the world (except G, :(, and I get to experience all this with them. I’m pretty stoked. Look out Paris, Bern, Bruges, Venice, and Rome, here I come.
