thrown into the deep end of the pool...

Recently, I was backpacking in Bali and resorted to rent a motorcycle as I found out that was the cheapest way to travel around. Managed to convince the guy working at the place I stayed to rent me one for 5 days.
I’d been on one of those motor-powered bicycles, so that was about my experience on a motorcycle. After a few ‘test-rides’, the guy handed me the key.
It was hard at first, especially navigating through narrow lanes and roads filled with pedestrians and other motorcyclists. But after a few times, it’s very easy to get the hang of it.
I honestly believe it’s something everyone can do, like riding a bicycle. Just needs a little time, patience and perseverance.
