I love my Mini! I’ve had it over a year now and it still hums along. Definitely worth the cost… though skip a Mac wireless mouse… the damn thing eats batteries.

This is just not going to happen. It would be fun but I can’t see it being worth the cost. (insurance, gas, parking, et.al.)
36) Running a race… even if I don’t finish as I’d like
37) A Saturday off from work!!!!
38) A BBQ with great friends
39) A nap
40) Planing a move to a new city
Ran to work today (first time this week) and noticed after my shower that I am getting freckles. I always forget that I get covered with the things every year. Just another sign of the great Chicago weather I’ve been having.
Run commuting is great. Give it a try!
One of my purveyors gave me this bottle. It is a touch awkward… yet smaller than the sticker laden bottle of fame. None to shabby… and the price was most certainly right.
I just can’t do it. I can not fake liking others. I am a terrible lier. I don’t want to listen to someone’s B.S. sob story. This is one of my biggest faults… if not the biggest!
I think too much about others and their perception of me. Someday… I hope… it won’t be as important. If err it was today.
My Mom and Dad are pretty special folk and they made me who I am today. Anytime I’ve been in need they have been there. I doubt I can ever repay the debt I owe them… I can only hope that if they ever are in need of anything, I can step up to the plate and be there for them.
31) My morning phone call with my best friend
32) Duct Tape
33) Playing guitar (badly… but I’m the only one who hears it)
34) Actually enjoying my job (best job EVER!!!)
35) Knowing when to hold ‘em… and when to fold ‘em
Finding that one person that you know is the one for you… Great!!!!
Spending time with them, learning their quirks and loving them… Great!!!
Finding out they were just trying you on for size… after you already love them… heart breaking.
This ought not to be a goal. It is one of the worst feelings… it filled me with so much self doubt and loathing.
Ya’ll would be better off falling in love with someone who loved you. A much better feeling!
26) Using Rock, Paper, Scissors to settle an argument
27) Juggling
28) The cool side of a pillow
29) A happy fireplace
30) Laying on the grass, looking at stars.
Chicago has some great museums. The MCA is usually pretty weak but always has a diamond in the rough. The Art Institute is a must see. Just get out and go!!! Most of them have a free day, so do a little research, get out there, and enjoy!
21) Pretzel Rods
22) Good art (as compared to angst filled b.s.)
23) Refrigerator magnets
24) Green beans with soy and sesame
25) MSG
The last time I took a CPR course was the summer of 2000. I really would like to get my certifications up to date. Certainly not the worst idea I have had today!
I’ve been good… not great… this week. No meat, fish, eggs. I broke on cheese, eating a slice of pizza. I’m having a hard time getting enough calories in. Between work and my workouts I need To hammer in about 4000 calories. I’m constantly hungry.
HELP!
16) Walking arm in arm with a woman
17) Chiquita Banana stickers
18) Sending random text messages
19) Singing Guns and Roses (how is THIS not in the top 5!?
20) The smell of heirloom tomatoes
When my friends ask me how to lose a few pounds I tell them to quit drinking soda. They never listen… but oh well.
One can of insert popular soda here has about 100 calories. I don’t know anybody who drinks only one can of soda a day (one can = 8oz, plastic bottles usually hold a can and a half, a liter is about two cans).
If you cut out soda, replace it with water, and continue your regular diet you will lose weight.
water=tasty treat!
I do realize that today is only Tuesday, but I didn’t work Monday, a half day today, no work Wednesday and Thursday, a half day Friday, a full day Saturday, and off Sunday. Not too shabby. Should be only a thirty hour work week.
My sisters coming for a visit tomorrow, making use of my last free plane tickets. We are just going to bum around Chicago and hit up the Sox Yankees game. Good times.
I wish I could live like this every week!!!
So…. I went to the hardware store today for some heavy duty paper towels. They put my ONE roll of paper towels in a plastic bag… gave me a receipt… and I walked out the door. I’m not going to get started on the needlessness of a receipt for a $5 purchase. I’m just ticked that I took a bag to carry a bag that has paper towels in it. My new name ought to be “King of Waste”.
I did this years ago when working at a summer camp. It always makes me smile when I look up at night and see something that brings back such great memories of that time!!!
I run to work about once a week… now that the weather in Chicago has broken. I’d love for this to be at least three times a week. At four and a half miles it isn’t much of a run, but it gets my head on straight for a good day.
