How I did it: Went around all the local options, shops, cafes ect. Being polite, friendly and willing to give anything a shot. Turns out a few were looking for cheap menial labour to last through summer. I obliged. Read how I did it…

I’m in high school and my “expressive” art unit this year was self-portraiture. While it was definitely hard work (considering I’m a perfectionist and 40% of my grade rests on the work produced..) it made me get outside my “comfort zone” and really think about what I was painting.
If you can represent an aspect of yourself then you’ve made an inportant development. If you can achieve a likeness then you’ve started to crack it. If you can’t do that – but keep trying – you’ll learn while you go. And you’ll get to where you want to be =)
But this year I was required to make a headdress based on the goddess Persephone for my art exam. (Woo!)
For Monday I’ve got to:-Edit- DONE!!! With pic to prove it. =)
