I’m going to do it this year, folks. Stay on your grind, crank those novels out, everybody. Maybe I’ll also write lame raps about how many more pages I have than everyone else. Okay, I won’t do that. I’ll consider myself extremely successful if I manage to get the 50,000 words done in a month’s time.

This year I’ve been on four trips, and visited three National Parks for the first time: in April I hit Arches and the Island in the Sky section of Canyonlands. In June I went to the Needles Section of Canyonlands. In September I went to Tetons and Yellowstone (I’d been both of these places before), and later I went to Bryce Canyon. This Monday/Tuesday I might hit Capitol Reef which would complete the list. (I didn’t go to Zion this year, but I’ve been there several times in the past). What I love most about all of this is that there are still so many places to go and things to do in the parks that I haven’t done yet, so I’d definitely go to these places again.
but I still have a mental list of groups that I would supposedly like to see in concert, and Sonic Youth is at the top of this list.
