Back again!

Current Weight: 14 stone 4 pounds

OK, so 6 weeks of summer hols mainly spent in a caravan has not helped. But I promised myself that when the kids were back to school, I’d be straight back on the case with getting rid of my fat!

In the meantime…. I was interested in the differences between Dukan and Atkins (as they are often compared). My conclusion is that they are the same, but on Dukan you can basically only eat protein, and minimal fat and carbs, whereas on Atkins, you can basically eat protein and fat, and just minimal carbs. Eating cream and butter sounds pretty good to me!

Anyway, having gone back up to 14 stone 10lb over the hols, I’ve just done 4 days of Atkins and am 6 pounds lighter already!!! I cannot believe that I can eat jelly and cream (yum) and full fat mayo and fried eggs and bacon etc… and am losing weight. Now I am a REALLY happy bunny!!!!

My first goal as I listed here AGES ago, is 4 pounds away…. could I really be about to crack this for good?????
