Malinda Lo’s updated version of Cinderella. A darkly engaging re-imagining of such a classic fairytale with a cool twist. Catergorized as Young Adult fiction, I nevertheless enjoyed this telling.

How I did it: I took a year to go through all of my personal documents and files. I shredded/tossed/recycled and got down to the basics and put those in a binder with dividers to separate each account/activity.I contacted all of my financial instutions and requested paperless statements.I organized all of my financial documents via spreadsheet and now have a net worth calculator and a monthly budget.I contacted an attorney and had a last will and testa… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Instructor asked me to substitute for her on Monday night. I laughed out loud. She said that she thought I'd be great. I was scared and nervous and decided that was a sign I should try it. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I switched to drinking Seltzer water and buy it in large quantities. I drink probably 3-6 cans of no sodium, no calorie seltzer water daily. The carbonation gives me the *fizz* I like from sodas without the soda *stuff*. I do have more energy, less sugar in my system and it does help clear up your skin!I really don't miss soda at all. I will have a diet soda about once or twice a month and generally won't finish it. Read how I did it…

Carol Anshaw’s funny take on family dysfunction, mother-daughter relationships and the many ways we betray each other and more often ourselves. Very good writing and interesting characters and story. I recommend it.
Lisa Kogan, of “O” magazine fame, unleashes her brand of self-deprecating and wry observational humor on a variety of topics. Definitely likely to be more interesting to women, but a funny and fast read for 30-somethings +.
