Just as the panic was starting to set in, the passport arrived the day before my trip. It only took 14 weeks to get. Crisis narrowly averted. Even though i could have gotten by without it to go to Canada, the amount of hassle it was having it would have only been compounded if i didn’t. Glad that one is done for the next ten years.

Completed the six week class and it’s not so bad. I’ve signed up for another six week clas sint he fall to force myself to keep up. I’ve still only actually played nine holes – how does anyone find the time to fit in a whole 18 holes! Worth doing to see that i could – and i hope to keep it up.

Spent the weekend trapped in little boats. It was fun and at times terrifying (and there wasn’t even whitewater involved. I did enjoy the sea kayaks – they can move at a nice easy pace with a little more breathing room. I don’t think I’ll be crashing into rocks in this lifetime, but could enjoy a day trip on a lake or something still.
