How I did it: looked for interesting people on Yahoo 360. started up a conversation, and now we talk and encourage each other. I looked for someone with a good kind heart and was drawn to her poetry and that her life quote matched mine "be the change you wish to see in the world" - Mahatma Gandhi. I knew she had to be someone special. Read how I did it…

I'se a teacher now 10 months ago

I am a new 2nd grade teacher at the Walton Academy for Performing Arts! Yayyy!!! Last week was my first week of school and it went swimmingly! I love my kids and my room! It was so worth the wait. I get hugs everyday and my kids are happy and learning. Can’t believe I’m getting paid for this!

Carla...Her name is my name too 14 months ago

I have met the most wonderful young Lady online. Carla from Lisbon Portugal. We have the same first name, the same favorite life quote : You must be the change you want to see in the world- Mahatma Gandhi., The same hero: Mother Teresa, and the same profession: Teacher. She is such a bright, loving, kind, soul. She really lives life with her heart open and loving. She is such a blessing to me!! We are definately sisters, more so than my natural sister is. I’m so glad we are friends!!

But to stay sane I had to do what I could as far as this goal. Think I accomplished it for what it’s worth. Long ways yet to go stil, however.
