Since I have to go to FL one of these days (soon), I decided to go to the site and sign up for updates and the schedules. Currently, the shuttle takes off tomorrow and it’s sold out. The next date is in August, which suites my schedule and time just fine. I am unable to tell if the event is sold out or not. It’s not real clear. There is one in May that sounds good too. If I do that one, then I have an excuse to go back to FL in the spring…. hmmmm. Sounds good.

How I did it: I tried everything from an annoying electric alarm clock to a Big Ben clock. The electric was off a few times in the winter due to ice and that prompted me to use a Big Ben but I'd fail to wind it or wind it enough. Now I use the alarm on my cell phone. It's loud and I can leave the phone on the charger all night so the battery is charged and if the electric goes off the battery works. But I found the best way to g… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I set my computer calendar to send me a reminder each day and when I read my email and saw the reminder, I stopped everything and prayed. Then I just found myself sending up a prayer at various times throughout the day without a reminder. That spontaneity was what I was hoping to achieve by getting in the habit of praying daily. I am still going to keep using the email reminder as a crutch until I know it is no longer ne… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I love reading and although I doubt I ever read 100 again (on purpose) in a year's time I enjoyed every minute of this achieving this goal. I am on Shelfari and GoodReads and really gained support from my online friends for this project. They were able to steer me toward books I enjoyed through their reviews and the discussion posts. I also read some of these books as group reads or buddy reads with my online friends.&nb… Read how I did it…

Although I’ve not “settled down” and officially started this project, I am using my blog “Ranting and Raving: A Single Mom’s Story as my “notes” on the subject. My family is full of interesting tidbits and neurotic behaviors and my blog is a way for my to not forget any of their antics!
I’m working on this one. I copied the June and the July list from C.M. Mayo’s website and have selected some topics that I will write on. It’s fun. I enjoy it so far. I have a new topic for my Ranting and Raving blog on blogger. I hate to admit it but I’ve neglected that blog as of late. Computer problems have been a hindrance in this area…. but the journal… ahhhh. Nothing like the written page!
