I have a bit of a “thing” for movies set on tropical islands (The Blue Lagoon, Cocktail, etc.) and even more of a bit of a “thing” for love scenes set in a waterfall fed pool. While making out with a beautiful, naked woman underneath a waterfall would be delightful, I’ll settle for having some time to myself in such a pool.

The first time I saw Tori in concert was in Denver, as part of the Strange Little Tour in 2001. The show was absolutely amazing. This was a solo show, just her and the pianos, no band. It was the first time I’d ever heard Mary. She also performed ‘Me and a Gun’ which is even more heart wrenching live.
The second time I saw Tori was also the third. During the American Doll Posse tour, I saw her in Lawrence, KS and again the next night in Omaha, NE. Both shows were awesome and she only repeated five songs between the two sets.
My most recent time seeing Tori was during the Sinful Attraction tour. This show was in Kansas City, MO and was my first time seeing her outdoors. Being able to stare up into the stars as Tori played was an experience I’ll never forget.
Tori is touring the US again in November. I’m hoping to see her for the fifth time, this time with my girlfriend who is also a big Tori fan. (Unbeknownst to either of us at the time, I actually saw my future girlfriend at the show in Lawrence, taking part in the counter-protest against the Westboro Baptist Church.)
