These people do amazing work in war torn countries particularly in Africa – what’s £10 a month? I can waste that buying unneccessary crap in one day easily.

At least half of my entries on 43things go towards this goal in some way. I’ve had problems sleeping on and off for the last 2 years and its lately gotten worse. I’m under a fair amount of work stress just now and find myself lying awake obsessing about things, I had a short term prescription for sleeping pills but i really don’t want to go down that road. Have ordered a very cheesey ‘Deep Sleep’ CD to try the amazon reviews were fairly positive so we’ll see. I love to sleep so much I miss it and I look like shit!
i haven’t had anything to drink for a week. This has been deliberate although not as difficult as I thought it might be. I don’t plan to drink at all for the next 4 weeks as I’m trying to keep a clear head during what will be a stressful period. Quitting drinking completely seems drastic yet I’m not sure how realistic it is to think that in the future i will drink in moderation as I know I like it too much…. its so easy to get into bad habits but it does make me wonder if its possible to learn good habits?
