stop shampooing
No-Poo

This sounds pretty gross, but I’m into my 2nd week of not shampooing my hair. It’s still quite greasy, but I hear it will realign itself eventually and stop overproducing oils.
We’ll see how long I can last…

get a professional massage

This is WORTH it. Be sure to splurge on a $50-70 massage with a reputable person, because you get what you pay for. $20 massages are pretty terrible.
I go at least once every 2 months to my masseuse to “detox” and relax.

get professional hypnotism
Untitled

I don’t think it’s anything like most people expect, but this is my experience with it:
You are in a very deep, deep, state of relaxation/meditation. It feels wonderful if you can focus that deep. The therapist doesn’t seem to have the power to MAKE you do things you don’t want to do. I could also “wake up” whenever I wanted to…she didn’t have to bring me out.
I have hypnotism/meditation CDs that mimic the same sensation, but it’s nice to have a personalized guide.
