I’ve completed several courses at lernu.net including…
Mi estas komencanto de Esperanto (audio)
La puzlo Esperanto
Voyagxu kun Zam
Bildoj kaj Demandoj
Ana Pana
and I’m currently studying Ana renkontas.
Also, I’m keeping an Esperanto blog about my progress, doing Esperanto crosswords and some reading. Also, I put an announcement out through an Esperanto site, and I already have 2 Esperanto penpals!

It was pretty gross. Blech.

I’ve been dabbling with writing, trying to edit my novel, but I need to work on being more diligent about this.

Last Friday I started an online course on Lernu.net called “Mi estas komencanto.” At a lesson a day, today I completed lesson 7.
I downloaded some Esperanto music and a Polish-Esperanto podcast. After this course, I will progress to the next course suggested and so on. Hopefully, in a few months, I’ll be able to mark this goal completed!

I’ve slacked off for the past month or so. I was going really well on a story, but then I had a whole bunch of personal stuff I had to do at home and it took over my schedules. Or rather avoiding doing the unpleasant things I was supposed to do took over my schedules. So now that I’m caught up, I’m going to try to get back into my morning writing routine.

Yes and no. I’m not wasting time, but I am spending quite a bit of time taking an online course, answering emails, etc.

I’ve been working on being more organized around the house and being more understanding of my husband. Also, I’m trying to do some extra things with me son. For instance, we’re taking an online course to learn Esperanto!

I’ve mostly caught up on entering our finances into the budgeting program. Still waiting on hubby to help me figure out the other features.

Out of 3 filing cabinets, I’ve cleaned out ALMOST 2 in the past couple days. I plan on finishing chucking all the unnecessary papers by tonight (for the filing cabinets). I still have boxes of old files stored under the stairs, but there’s no hurry for that. When I finish chucking all the stuff I don’t need from these 3 filing cabinets, I’ll have most of the important papers organized or at least most of the way to being organized. :)

I had to quit my job due to scheduling problems. I’m actually trying to either get rehired at my old job or get a newer different one.
So I guess I’m doing terrible at this.
On another note. I am working on writing more, with the end goal of perhaps being able to sell and publish my work. I’m still in the very early stages though,so this probably isn’t practical right now.

in November I’ll be doing Nanowrimo, so I’ll be writing a 50,000 page novel in 30 days. If anyone would like to sponsor me, please go here…
http://www.firstgiving.com/ganymeder
The proceeds will go to the Office of Letters and light which creates free programs like Nanowrimo (National Novel Writing Month) to promote a love of writing.

to manage our checkbook, plus we’re using Mvelopes for budgeting.

We tried myspendingplan.com but there were too many bugs. We especially didn’t like the way it did splits (it shows a split as separate transactions which makes it difficult to reconcile with the bank statement).
We are using Mvelopes now, which seems to be much better. We are definitely thinking about our money differently.

photos to date onto my computer and into our online albulm. Next I need to get them printed out, but I’ll probably wait a couple weeks for that.
I think I’m going to check this one done, since this is an ongoing thing, but I’m about as up to date as I can be right now. :)

I’ve gotten a couple weeks behind now. I’ve been having a lot of stuff come up around the house, plus computer problems. I think I’ll catch up though after my little boy starts school next week. :)

I’m writing every week. I just got some good short story ideas. I’m not sure what genre they would be considered though or who my ideal reader would be. If its not specifically for my son, I just write stuff I like, so I guess I’m my ideal reader?

I applied for a position at my local library. It’s close, and I love working with books. But I got a rejection letter without even an interview.
I had been on a leave of absence from my cashier job, but I had to just quit because my husband’s work schedule screwed up my availability.

Every time I try to get ahead, something else comes up. I need to fix our screen door. In the meantime, I simply removed it so it wouldn’t bang in the wind.
Oh, one thing I did because I absolutely had no choice (and I had to juggle to make the money work) was get a new stove. Our old one was almost completely dead. The new one is very nice and pretty too.
I still need to get our downstairs bathroom shower (glass) door at least removed, preferably replaced. I can’t remove the door though because its got some weird hinge I can’t undo.
We need to get our pipes from our gutters cleared so they actually work. The stoppage is somewhere in the pipe, hopefully not underground. I wonder if home warranty would cover that?
Today I woke up, took my shower and discovered there’s a leak coming from the upstairs bathroom. I took off the panel but can’t figure out where the leak is coming from exactly. I called my warranty, which seems like they’ll cover it, but I know they won’t cover consequential damage to the ceiling of my garage.
I need my ac/heating system inspected, but I can’t get the money to do it because all this other stuff keeps coming up.
I’m worried about my water heater.
I need money to make repairs/maintanance and I can’t seem to get ahead. :(

The trip was a camping trip/birthday present to me from my hubby. It was so great! My little boy had a great time. We got to meet my sponsored bunny, and we saw Sammie and Tudie (clown magicians) perform. It was wonderful!

in a new online magazine, but I got the email while I was having internet connection problems so I didn’t see it til late. So I think I missed my opportunity.
Hopefully they’ll use my story next issue, but I haven’t heard back.
