This is kinda vague. Maybe you are scared of flying and just want to get in the back and go from A to B?

Maybe you want to learn to fly. If so, lookout. “Once you have flown, forever will your gaze be turned skyward, longing to return.”—Leonardo da Vinci (I think, going from memory here…)

Also, it’s always better to be on the ground, wishing you were in the air, than be in the air, wishing you were on the ground! Be safe!

I’ve been flying for almost 10 years, so if anyone has any questions, let me know, I’d love to help you learn to fly!



sleep under the stars
So many times 2 years ago

I’ve slept under the stars more times than I can count. A few times were very memorable:

1. Flying into a small airport, tying down the airplane, and sleeping under the wing in the grass

2. Sleeping in a hammock at Icicle Creek in May

3. Sleeping under the stars for months while deployed

Step 1: Cancel Cable 2 years ago

Lost is a great TV show right? It’s an “hour” long, and 30 minutes of it is advertising! 5 minutes of show, 5 minutes of ads. Commercials wreck the pacing of the show.

Do you realize you’re actually subsidizing the ads? With close to 50% of an hour of programming being ads, we should be watching these shows for free, not paying $40, $80, or even $120 a month for the priviledge of being marketed to!

Step 1: Cancel cable
Step 2: Buy a DVD Player
Step 3: Watch what you want when you want, without ads
Step 4a: Read a book
Step 4b: Go for a walk
Step 4..: Get a new hobby
Step 4z: Learn something new
Step 5: Become too busy with #4 to do #3

Kill your tv. Trust me, you’ll feel a lot better.
