How I did it: The best way to improve my photography skills was / is to practice, practice, PRACTICE. I read a lot too, and it helps. But every time I want to try a new technique, I go on a photo shoot. I "play" with my camera all the time. Trying out new settings, seeing how things work or changing things slightly. Understanding my cameras features is very important to maximizing the control I have over the fine details of an image. For me… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Regularly check Billboard or iTunes for new music releases. They both have very thorough lists with new music and the release dates and sometimes upcoming releases. Last Saturday was sweetest day, a day my husband and I don’t always celebrate. I decided to surprise him with champagne and French truffles, AND long island ice tea mix and buckeyes. [ Because I couldn’t decide which combo he would like more ;) ] He asked why I bought him these gifts, I said “because I love you” and he responded by asking if it was some kind of holiday. It made me realize that I need to be more proactive about showing my husband how much I love him on a day to day basis. Not just on the traditional holiday. I am thinking about surprising him with little things the next couple of weeks.
I need ideas! ???
