Both of my dogs dies last year. One of them had been riddled with conditions from day one, the other;who had been perfectly healthy, died a few months later. He lived with me. I live alone, and have no friends. I miss him. I miss them. They were the purest souls God had ever created, while so many bastards are unaffected by life. If there is a God, he is more cruel than the devil. At least he doesn’t pretend to be good.
Maybe I’m not quite over them enough to get a new dog yet. The secomd, Flash, died in March. I still feel guilty – I was depressed and shouted at him a lot. I don’t know how to feel.
