Went to the Dr. yesterday…a low sodium, low protein diet is what he recommended for prevention of kidney stones. I also need to drink enough fluids to void atleast 2.5 liters. I don’t know exactly how much that is…need to find out.
Today so far I have had approximately 55 oz of water and 16 oz of coffee. I will need to do much better tomorrow. I also made an appointment for a physical and blood work. It has been a couple of years and I have other issues that I need to check on…thyroid, blood sugar, ect…

Dr.'s Orders
I have a long history of kidney stones, I had my first at 19, had them with both pregnancies, I have even passed a stone the size of a dime. I went to the doctor today and he said a low sodium, low protein diet and drinking alot more water, may prevent this problem. I need to start drinking enough water that I void more than two liters a day! I don’t know exactly how much that is…so maybe two liters liquid in equals two liters out? We will see…I have three months until I repeat all of my tests and then we will know if it works, if not I will have to start taking medication…and who really wants that hassle and expense? I would welcome any tips or suggestions.

It really bothers me when people around me are in bad moods, mad, down, sad, pissy, moody…I try really hard but I tend to over analize these situations, or assume that I am the reason. I want to stop worrying about if other people are happy and start worrying more about my own happiness. Not that I am selfish but my experience has been that I can rarely bring them out of their mood they usually bring me into it.
