Once you’ve put yourself in the right frame of mind and have accustomed yourself to being nude at the beach, it comes to seem normal and natural. You start to wonder why all beaches and pools can’t be swimsuit-optional. It’s actually a bit dangerous: in the aftermath of having been nude at a nude beach, you might find yourself starting to wonder at a conventional beach or pool, “Why can’t I just take my swimsuit off right here and now? People wouldn’t really get upset, would they? The police wouldn’t really come and arrest me, would they?” You have to keep reminding yourself intellectually that the answers to those questions are yes and yes, because in your heart you aren’t feeling it as strongly as you used to.
