I went to a debt consolidator that is associated with my credit union. They set up a plan for me and counseled a few basic ideas: put some small amount in savings and go to that for emergencies instead of credit cards; don’t use credit cards; have a defined budget. Good advice! Sometimes I still resort to credit cards, but not as a default anymore; payments on the debt go out automatically each month and slow but steady progress is being made.

Stymied, but Diligent

I tried to re-start this effort by going to another class – but the bus broke down and I never made it. I decided to be unstoppable, and went home and did yoga to dvd despite the various distractions. Immediately I felt more energy and slept well that night. Next class is scheduled for Thursday.

Mike and I attended an ashtanga class at Yoga in the Pearl. It was good, but it was the wrong choice for us, since I haven’t done yoga in 5 years and Mike is a beginner, and the teacher moved quickly through the poses without doing demonstrations first.
Next, I believe we will attend a yin yoga class on Sunday evening.
