I found a nearly perfect 1984 Honda Nighthawk 650 (that’s a CB650SC).
Shaft drive = no chain to mess with.
It’s the older style that I like – it seems like in the last 15 years, the only bikes that have been made are either very sporty (even ‘naked bikes’) or are cruisers with ginormous engines. This is neither – it’s relatively small, though with enough oomph to out-accelerate pretty much anything on four wheels.

Been brewing beer for over a year now. I’m mostly a fan of porters, but I’ve also done a barleywine (it’s not ready yet) and a honey wheat (good summer beer).
Brewing your own is fun, and the beer you make is far tastier than almost any beer you can buy. I’ve suddenly noticed a distinct difference between beers that have carbon dioxide injected (about 99% of commercial beers) and those that have the co2 produced naturally by yeast in the bottle. It’s night and day.
The startup cost used to be high, but it’s less difficult to get started now.
